#6: Merchants of Amister
(Cycle 709)
The great war for Imknopokorvia had ended. The Houses of Faeles, Dalton, and Aquaticus defeated the Lar Basileus with the help of the Gods.
With the Lar Basileus mothership sunken to the bottom of the Blue Sea, the threat of the alien lords was all but extinct.
Maximous Báthory led the revolution inside Imknopokorvia, and personally put an end to Ditio, the Lord of Power’s reign of terror, striking him down with his sword; But Maximous paid for this victory with his own life.
The kingdom of Amister grew to be the largest trading post in all of the realm. Its cities flourished, which brought in heavy traffic from all over the map. The merchants of Amister found victory without the need of bloodshed. It was a quieter time in the realm, a nice change of pace from the recent wars.
Hipanos plotted his next move, slowly devising a plan to crush Meldock and bring darkness over the realm once again. However, his powers had weakened after his last encounter with the good wizard. This time he took to the sea, with his ship the Obsidian Ember and a crew of unsavory mercenaries.
Hipanos snuck into Mercatus, with his crew posing as traders. They slaughtered the guards at Hippurus Point and attempted a siege at Tala Fee that lasted 1 long and brutal day. Tala Fee was nearly brought to ashes before reinforcements from Fort Dalery and the mighty Meldock drove Hipanos and his crew back to the sea.
#7: Masters of Spells
(Cycle 710)
MonRa grew more powerful as the Academy of Magic took in more students. Meldock returned to the citadel after victoriously defeating Hipanos during the Siege at Tala Fee. There he continued to train young students the art of wizardry.
The high council was made up of three powerful wizard elders. The first was Remorris, the master of enchantments. Remorris always remained neutral; he didn’t believe in fighting, only teaching the ways of magic to anyone who seemed worthy of his training.
The second was Meldock, the master of spells and protector of the realm. Meldock took charge whenever a threat would arise. He fought side by side with many of the common people to bring balance to the kingdoms and keep them safe from harm.
The third was Elaskolat, the master of creatures, tamer of beasts. Elaskolat was one with nature and often dabbled in elemental magic. Something he taught Meldock, himself.
Meanwhile, in Tahion, a new force of evil grew in power—someone that hoped to prove himself more powerful than Hipanos—his name was Vorto Blackworm. Vorto was an expert in poisons and master of the dark arts. He was banished from Hal Haffa by King Monty Poole. Even the evil King found Vorto’s methods to be a danger to the realm and his kingdom.
Vorto led a small army of Black-Eyed Beings into the Tathion Watch and destroyed the outpost, killing every living soul that was stationed there. Vorto then met with Celaena from the Island of the Damned and plotted to spread the Journeyman’s disease to Hal Haffa.
When Lord Dalery got word of Vorto’s plot, he sent a convoy to intercept their ships. For the first time in history, Dalery joined together with King Monty Poole. Together they fought Vorto and Celaena’s fleet of diseased intruders, for the greater good of the realm.
